Occupy Ottawa Report

Confederation Park home to growing occupation in nation's capital

by Roslyn Cassells

Occupy Ottawa Report

Occupy Ottawa joined the international resistance on October 15 2011 with a 300 person strong gathering in Confederation Park.

80-100 activists remained in the park, pitching tents and spreading the word.

The occupation is growing, with a meeting planned for Wednesday October 19 on site.

All are welcome -  and anyone who can is encouraged to bring donations of food, hot drinks, toilet paper, blankets, socks, warm clothes, communication devices and solidarity greetings to those who are staying in the park at Elgin and Laurier.

ReLOVEution!
