Halifax Media Co-op is seeking one summer student
Are you a student with a strong sense of social justice?
Interested in working with the Halifax Media Co-op this summer as a journalist/researcher?
We're pleased to announce that we have funding for a summer student position. It will be for 8 weeks paid, 30 hours a week, at minimum wage. Your start and end date can be flexible, depending on your summer plans.
You'll be living the dream of getting paid to do grassroots reporting on under-reported stories, all the while working with our team of amazing volunteer editors.
You'll need to be a student who is returning to school full-time in the fall.
We'll be accepting applications from everyone, but we'll be prioritizing applications from students who self-identify as visible minorities.
