On the first anniversary of Dr Morgentaler's death, we will call for improved access to abortion in Canada, calling for public funding of the Morgentaler clinic in Fredericton and repealing of Section 84-20 of the NB Medical Act, which restricts publicly funded abortions to patients who have received the permission of two physicians and requires the procedure be performed by the OBGYN in Hospital.
