Did you enjoy SWITCH last summer in Dartmouth and Halifax? Do you want more opportunities for bicycling and walking in your community? Please join us in this engaging public talk by Marc Jolicoeur, of Velo Quebec. Marc is an engineer, researcher, educator and promoter of Active Transportation and has been working in the field for over 20 years. In addition to authoring design guidelines and serving on safety committees, he has been involved with the development of Quebec’s famous Route Verte Cycling network. Marc will speak about how communities can develop their bikeways networks.

Time: 7 pm
Location: Dartmouth Oceanview Hotel, 65 King Street, Dartmouth

Indoor bike parking will be provided. The talk is hosted by the Halifax Regional Municipality in partnership with the Ecology Action Centre and the Planning and Design Centre.
