Diversity Spotlight Film Screening: Nicky’s Family, Tuesday, November 3 at 7 p.m., Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 1055 Marginal Road, Halifax, NS. www.pier21.ca Nicky’s Family tells the inspiring story of Nicholas Winton, an Englishman who organized the rescue of 669 Czech and Slovak children just before the outbreak of the Second World War. All are welcome and admission is free. Rated NR and presented in English in partnership with the Atlantic Jewish Council.
