FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Sunday October 30th at 10:00pm

Out of respect for the Dignity Day commemoration event taking place on November 9th as well as Remembrance Day ceremonies taking place at Grande Parade Square on November 11th, the General Assembly of Occupy Nova Scotia has decided by consensus that:

2. The Occupation at Grand Parade Square will relocate temporarily to Victoria Park (Spring Garden Road at South Park Street in Halifax) by the evening of Tuesday November 8.

3. Occupy Nova Scotia will return to Grand Parade with a Solidarity Rally at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday November 12.

Just so you know.. When I log in to twitter and try to follow, the page comes back that it does not exist..they are also doing this to all other Occupy pages on twitter..

I just tried firefox browser and I was able to get twitter to work..o it is being blocked on my kmeleon browser.

Oh also the Rich text feature does not work..I have to disable it to be able to post here..

"Dignity" day

Great move by Occupy NS, but I can't help but comment on the hypocrisy of he the Atlantic Jewish Council's so-called Dignity Day.  This Council's main advocacy is to support Israel unconditionally and to shut down -- especially on universities -- any frank discussion of what Israel is doing in its occupation of Palestinian territories and through its racist laws affecting Palestinian citizens of Israel (20% of the population).

When do Palestinians get their dignity?
