Halifax, NS – The Ecology Action Centre is pleased to announce our new signature summer fundraiser, called Perfect World: a simply delicious evening. The inaugural event, set for August 17th, is sure to be memorable.
Perfect World promises to be a magical evening. The event will be hosted at the Wooden Monkey at Alderney Landing with the harbour as its backdrop. Five local chefs will be on location serving delicious creations prepared with local and sustainable ingredients. While enjoying live musical entertainment, guests will have the opportunity to bid on high-quality, eco-friendly items and experiences in the silent auction.
“We are very excited about Perfect World,” says Joanna Bull, Volunteer & Events Coordinator for the Centre, “and we are so appreciative of all the support we’ve received from the community – the Wooden Monkey for hosting the event, Chef Dennis Johnston and all the other chefs for their contributions, and everyone else who is a part of this. It’s going to be incredible.”
Limited tickets are available for Perfect World, and friends of the EAC are encouraged to purchase tickets early. Tickets can be purchased online athttps://www.ecologyaction.ca/perfectworld or by calling the office directly at (902) 429-2202.
