Candace and The Rhubarb Appreciation Society present a rhubarb chutney canning workshop on Monday, June 16th, 2pm-4pm, at 5678 Charles Street, Apt. #4. Bring a jar or two if you got 'em. Bring a rhubarb stalk or two from your garden if you got 'em. Cost is free. Note that there are four steps leading into the kitchen.
Candace Mooers will complete and launch a personal zine of creative non-fiction vignettes written in Fredericton during winter 2011. The zine touches on such themes as exile, ancestry, canoe-burnings, and other journeys.
Candace will be around for all open hours (Tues 5-7pm & Sun 2-5pm at Plan B)! so come by and say hello and if you happen to have an extra jar for canning please bring that along for an upcoming rhubarb extravaganza.
3. Zine borrowing hours: Tuesdays 5-7pm & Sundays 2-5pm
The Anchor Archive Zine Library is open at Plan B, 2180 Gottingen Street, 7 days a week, 11am to 7pm. Come by any time to read zines in the library, buy zines, and use the photocopier. If you want to borrow zines, get help finding zines, and get help with the photocopier from a friendly and helpful Anchor Archive collective member, come to Zine Borrowing Hours on Tuesdays 5-7pm and Sundays 2-5pm.
