Media Advisory – Public Housing Tenants Protest Poor Living Conditions
Halifax, N.S. - Tenants living in public housing managed by the Metro Regional Housing Authority have been living in slum conditions with bedbugs, mice, mold, asbestos, and more.
A recent article published today in the Nova Scotia Advocate highlights many of the conditions experienced by MRHA tenants:
On Thursday, April 7th at 2pm tenants from Spryfield, Dartmouth, and Halifax will be coming together to protest the poor living conditions. They will be delivering a letter demanding a meeting with the regional manager of MRHA, Janet Burt-Gerrans.
