The Atlantic Canadian Organic Regional Network (ACORN) will host its twelfth annual conference at the Holiday Inn Halifax Harbourview from November 11th to 13th, featuring over 40 workshops on organic food and farming, as well as a sold-out trade-show.
Saturday's Celebratory Banquet is a conference highlight. The evening will feature live music by Heather Kelday; an amazing silent auction of over 100 items (heirloom seeds, magazine subscriptions, local art, gift certificates and much more!); and a keynote speech from Katherine DiMatteo, president of the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements, on the global organic movement.
