ACORN Conference Kick-Off Party
Join the celebration of local and organic farming at the Khyber Arts Centre!

The Atlantic Canadian Organic Regional Network (ACORN) will host its twelfth annual conference from November 11th to 13th in Halifax.
To launch this event, the kick-off party will be held at the Khyber Arts Centre, starting at 7:30pm, on Friday November 11th. Everyone is invited!
The evening will feature:
-Photographs from Stephan Hederich's "The Vanishing Breed"; his documentation of the endangered family-run farm.
-Short films by Maritime filmmakers Tim Tracey, Rachel Bower, Kaia & Shaani Singh and others
-Delicious pumpkin tarts provided by jane's on the common and Castor River Farm.
As well as other local and organic appetizers and baked goods.
Admission $7 (proceeds support ACORN's "Grow a Farmer" programs)
