RALLY AGAINST BILL C-51 and the TRANS-PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP (TPP)

7:30ampm-abbreviation am
- 8:30ampm-abbreviation am
Samedi Octobre 17 2015

Venue: Cornwallis Park, Halifax (Across from Westin Nova Scotia Hotel)
Join trade unionists, students, social justice activists and others THIS SATURDAY MORNING at 7:30am at Cornwallis Park for a Rally Against the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal and Bill C-51!

Activists in the Halifax and surrounding area are encouraged to join this rally to demand strong commitments from all federal parties on Bill C-51 and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Justin Trudeau will be in Halifax on Saturday morning and he needs to know where Canadians stand on these issues!

The recent signing of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal has introduced many issues for workers and our economy. The Harper government has kept details of the deal closely guarded and the full impacts on the auto, agricultural and dairy industries are not yet known.

Bill C-51, created by Harper's Conservatives and supported by Trudeau's Liberals who voted for it, is "complex, dangerous, and poses a serious threat to free expression in Canada" according to the Canadian Journalists for Free Expression.

Join us for a RALLY tomorrow (Saturday October 17th) at 7:30am at Cornwallis Park (across from the Westin Nova Scotia Hotel) in Halifax while Justin Trudeau is in Halifax.

Come out and express your opposition to the negotiated-in-secret Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal and to call for Bill C-51 to be fully repealed.
