CKDU 88.1FM Annual Homelessness Marathon

On Wednesday, February 25 starting at 6PM, CKDU will be broadcasting live from St. Matthew's United Church on Barrington raising awareness about homelessness in Halifax.
The yearly overnight broadcast is shared on campus and community stations from coast to coast, creating linkages and raising awareness of homelessness in Canadian communities.
Who: Everyone is invited to participate in a live, nation-wide, radio broadcast on homelessness, poverty, and community-based solutions.
What: Come down to speak, discuss, listen, question and comment, or sing, perform, and play music at the Homelessness Marathon. Free food, coffee, tea, and a warm place.
When: Wednesday, February 25th 6 pm-Midnight
Live broadcast/discussion from 7pm-9pm
Where: St. Matthew's United Church, 1479 Barrington Street.
Why: The Homelessness Marathon is the nation's largest live discussion on homelessness and poverty. Join in person at the church, or tune in to listen at 88.1fm, and call in to participate at 1-866-594-7729.
