Yurt Building Workshops 2015

Don't miss this opportunity to learn how to build your own yurt - a low impact shelter originating from Central Asia. Join Little Foot Yurts for a hands on yurt building workshop housed in a  woodland yurt paradise! Leave with the practical skills and resources to build your own yurt.

The two and a half day workshop will provide a thorough introduction to yurts, and the basics of yurt construction including: sustainable forestry practice; coppice as a timber crop, Acadian forest species, making a greenwood working station, using a drawknife, froe and other hand tools, planning and designing your walls, roof, and wheel, and erecting a yurt. When: January 23th-25th AND January 30th-Feb 1st

Cost: $320 plus tax, includes workshop fee, yurt camping, gourmet local vegetarian food, and a yurt zine.

Registration: Please register online here

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $160 is required to reserve your spot. The deposit is due five days after you have completed the registration. Online registration closes December 15th.
