Decision: Divestment at the Board of Governors - Nov 25, 2014

It's decision time.
We've been working toward a vote on fossil fuel divestment at Dalhousie since May 2013. Finally, this moral question is coming to a decision at the upcoming Board of Governors meeting held on November 25th.
Over 200 Students, Faculty, Staff and Community Members took part in the October 21, 2014 Board meeting to demand that this important decision come to a vote.
On November 25, that vote will come.
If successful, Dalhousie would be the first university in Canada to divest - and the university with the largest endowment to rid itself of fossil fuel investments.
