We will meet and the JBO Centre and from there head out on a door-to-door canvass in Halifax neighbourhoods to talk to residents about the proposed changes to Canada Post
Join us for the NDP day of action on Canada Post
As you know the Conservative Government has proposed drastic cuts to Canada Post. Their plan would include ending home delivery in cities, reducing rural delivery, and cutting 8000 jobs, all while raising the cost of postage. The changes in Canada Post will be felt on every doorstep country wide.
On Saturday, May 10 we will be taking to the streets in a national day of action. Join Megan Leslie at the JBO Centre, 2103 Gottingen St at 1 pm when we will be hitting the doorsteps to speak to our neighbours about an issue that is dear to many: postal service. We'll work together to fight back against the Conservative cuts that threaten Canada Post.
