The Ecology Action Centre is pleased to be screening partner once again to an Atlantic Film Festival environmentally focused film; this time it's with ViewFinders Atlantic Film Festival for Youth. But don't worry, this may be a youth festival, but these fantastic documentary films and their meaningful content are suitable for all audiences.

Environmental Documentary Shorts

Four Atlantic made documentary shorts explore issues close to home; industrialized farming on PEI (Island Green, Director: Millefiore Clarkes), gender roles in the fishing industry (Well Fished, Director: Corinne Dumphy), treaty fishing rights (Seeking Netukulimk, Director: Martha Stiegman, Kerry Propser) and giving up all material possessions in search of happiness and adventure aboard a 50 year old wooden boat (Twenty Eight Feet: Life on a Little Wooden Boat, Director: Kevin A Fraser).
