Students Unions in Halifax Hosting Panel on Rape Culture

HALIFAX – The King’s Students Union (KSU) and the Students Union at NSCAD University (SUNSCAD) are cohosting a panel on rape and rape culture at university campuses in Nova Scotia. The panel is taking place on Tuesday, February 11, at6:30pm at the University of King’s College. Panelists include Heather Chamberlain, Sex educator at Venus Envy; Jane Hebert, an organiser with Stepping Stone and the Avalon Sexual Assault Centre; Elise Graham, the Equity and Accessibility officer at the Dalhousie Students' Union; and Anna Dubinski, President of King's Students' Union and Chairperson for the Canadian Federation of Students- Nova Scotia. The panel is part of an annual weeklong event jointly run by the KSU and SUNSCAD in the lead up to Valentine’s Day, called Consent Week.
