Divest Dalhousie meets the University's Board of Governors

Divest Dalhousie meets the University's Board of Governors this coming Tuesday, February 11th!
We will all meet at the Student Union Building before walking to to the quad at the MacDonald building. We'll provide lots buttons, you need to bring loads of hype!
We need everyone at the quad at the MacDonald building by 2:30 pm AT THE VERY LATEST so that we get some face-to-face time with the BOG members.
There will also be a group meeting at the Dalhousie Student Union building at 1:30 for a lunch and learn about divestment. If you have questions about divestment, want to find out how you can become more involved in the campaign, want to know what to expect at the BOG, please join us! We will be getting lunch from the Loaded Ladle and then meeting on the second floor couch area.
Once at the BOG all of our smiling faces will line the entrance/pathway through the MacDonald building and up to the BOG meeting room welcoming the BOG members and showing how excited we are for them to hear about divestment today! Anyone comfortable schmoozing about divestment is encouraged to wait in the meeting room and talk divestment with BOG members. Once all members have arrived we encourage people to be the audience at the meeting and watch our DSU president to speak about Divest Dal, but if you have to run to class, feel free to leave quietly.
At the Board of Governors (BOG) meeting in November, Divest Dalhousie broke the record for students who've attended a BoG meeting, and this time around we're hoping to at least double that record with 60 or more students, alumni and community members! We are preparing a killer presentation for the Board and it's important that we are able to showcase our widespread support.
Vests are highly encouraged to identify as diVesters. Look spiffy! We want to impress the BOG with our prowess and professionalism!
