Please join the Black Student Advising Centre (BSAC) in celebrating youth speakers Ms. Habiba Cooper-Diallo, a young teenager who embodies leadership and innovation by creating the Women's Health International (WHOI) at the young age of 16, and Ms. Shalyn Williams, a Dalhousie alumni and the first African Nova Scotian Female Engineer, as they share their stories of success, challenges and aspirations during this African Heritage Month event. This is also an opportunity to celebrate Dalhousie’s new president Dr. Richard Florizone as he gives a welcome address. This event also features African Drumming by Wayn Hamilton, Khalifa Hamilton, and Ayo Aladejebi and Spoken Words by Ms. Dominique Oliver-Dares. Light refreshments will be served.
