Mark your calendars! The North End is rolling out the welcome mat for the Morris House in a
KICK OFF THE SUMMER FUNDRAISER.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19 7-9 PM AT FRED there will be swinging music, art and poetry to celebrate
the landing of the Morris on its new foundation and to raise funds for the next phase of
renovations for this unique affordable housing project for young adults.

Local restauranteurs, artists and businesses have come together to create a super summer special event.
Delicious food and beverage tastings will jive with tunes from Kate & Rich on accordion and clarinet,
sweet soul from Cyndi Cain, and gypsy beats from Mountains in Missing (Callum and friends).
A powerful spoken word performance by El Jones will round out the evening.

Tickets are $40 at the door, or in advance at the Ecology Action Centre or FRED.
