Community Transit Nova Scotia 2013
Annual General Meeting and Conference

Monday, May 13, 2013
10 a.m-4 p.m., Holiday Inn, Truro NS

Keynote Speaker: Hon. Charlie Parker, Minister of Energy

Throughout Nova Scotia, rural communities are grappling with the challenge of providing accessible, affordable transit options to their residents. Municipalities and community groups are working hard to find solutions. The Province of Nova Scotia is set to release its first Sustainable Transportation Strategy. At this important juncture,
we need your ideas and energy to help us move forward.

You are warmly invited to CTNS’s AGM and conference on May 13. At this day you will:
Learn about innovative approaches being taken around the province.
Participate in interactive sessions designed to generate new ideas, connections and approaches to meet our communities’ sustainable transportation needs.
Provide CTNS and the Province of Nova Scotia with direction for supporting sustainable transportation in the coming year.
Network with others involved in community transit and active transportation.

A few important details:
AGM runs from 10:00 am-11:00 am.
Registration includes lunch and a one-year membership in Community Transit-Nova Scotia.
Travel bursaries are available
