Jim Stanford is an Economist for the Canadian Auto Workers, Founder of the Progressive Economics Forum, Globe and Mail Columnist, and Panellist on CBC TV's The National. He has a master's degree in Economics from Cambridge University and a PhD from the New School of Social Research. He has written a number of books and numerous publications including:

• Economics for Everyone: A Short Guide to the Economics of Capitalism (with Tony Biddle) London ; Ann Arbor, MI : Pluto Press, 2008.
