Eyelevel Gallery hosts Rob Sandeski, Glynis Humphrey & Jake Feldman with Shay Enxuga presenting lectures based on the theme of BODY. The Eyelectures bring together artists, academics, and professionals to engage our members and the general public in discussions creating unexpected connections.
Rob Sandeski is the Chief Technologist in the Department of Medical Neuroscience at Dalhousie University. He is one of the lead persons for the Human Body Donation Program and works with students in Medicine (graduate and post graduate), Health Professions and Dentistry. Rob is formerly a funeral director and embalmer at a number of funeral homes.
Glynis Humphrey is a video, performance, and installation artist. She is the recipient of the Nova Scotia Lieutenant Governor Masterworks Art Award for Breathing Under Water(2007). Glynis’ work has been exhibited in Canada, Australia, and the United States.

Jake Feldman is an active member of Halifax's punk, queer and lefty political communities. His current focuses are finishing a concept CD on anscestral memory and healing, and a zine on ways we can herbally support ourselves through surgery.
Shay Enxuga is an awkward kid with a big heart. Most notably, he is an ex-Just Us barista who spends most of his time talking to babes writing short stories, and shit disturbing. He's really excited to talk about the body, trauma, and healing.
The Eyelecture on Body is presented as part of a series of community building fundraising initiatives in support of Eyelevel Gallery.
Eyelevel Gallery is an artist-run, not for profit organization dedicated to the presentation, development and promotion of contemporary art. Through a range of programming initiatives such as exhibitions, performances, special projects, and workshops, Eyelevel Gallery has provided a forum for the discussion and education of contemporary visual art for 37 years.
