Jane Hurshman Memorial Fund Awareness Forum

Why?
• People with disabilities experience increased vulnerability and a lack of access to appropriate services and supports.

• People with disabilities face multiple barriers to community and societal inclusion.

What?
• A free two-hour community Awareness Forum where people with disabilities in the local community will share their stories, experiences and insight regarding issues of abuse and health care access.

Who?
• People with disabilities who are affected by the issues of violence and access to healthcare?

• People who are involved in the prevention of and response to violence and abuse?

• People who work in the healthcare field?

If you are a member of one of these groups, or simply a member of the community who is concerned about these issues, we invite you to attend the Awareness Forum!
Come hear members of the community share their experiences and insight concerning these issues and learn about ways in which you can play an important role in making this community a more inclusive one!
