Stand Up For Mental Health is an organization that teaches stand up comedy to people with mental illness.
KMHAC is very excited to welcome the Stand Up comics to King's on Thursday, April 4th at 7 p.m. in the KTS Lecture Hall (2nd Floor, NAB).
Take a break from writing papers and studying to have a few laughs. The event is free and open to everyone (so please share widely). We hope to see you there!

This 45-60 minute show, MC’d by counsellor and stand up comic David Granirer is not only hilarious, but also helps people re-evaluate their attitudes towards mental illness and addictions...
The comics' acts look at the lighter side of their mental health journeys, and spread a message of hope and empowerment. Because this message is delivered with humour, people want to hear it. It also puts a human face to mental illness and addictions...
