Race and Identity in Film

Admission is free. Come out for an exploration of perceptions of race and identity in film. Hear from Dr. Sylvia Hamilton, multi-award-winning filmmaker and writer, and view her short film Keep on Keepin’ On. Followed by Nova Scotian writer and director Sobaz Benjamin’s featured National Film Board documentary Race is a Four-Letter Word (rated PG 14, contains nudity). Discussion and reception to follow. This event is presented in English.
