Announcing the second New Farmers Gathering!

The Lorax Woodlands
Black River, Nova Scotia.
That's right, we're doin it up again. The second weekend of June, the
Lorax Woodlands is hosting two days of agricultural renewal with great
food, music and discussion.
Guest speakers, including Aaron Hiltz, Patrisha Bishop and Ted Hutton
will break it down for us on real farming.
Interactive workshops will feature chicken killing, horse farming,
home dairying and the weekend long construction of a clay bread oven
and more...
Food will be served Saturday evening, Sunday morning and noon, and is
included in admission.
Bring your own plates and cutlery.
There is a party Saturday night with Zumbini Circus and an acoustic Jam.
If you want to sleep over, bring a tent and camp in the hayfield.
It starts Saturday at 2:00 PM and wraps up Sunday at 5:00 PM
The weekend's admission is $40 pre-registered
$50 at the gate
$30 for farmers
$25 for one day
