<<  ONLINE REGISTRATION  >>

Due to the generosity of our Conference Sponsors, we are able to waive the registration fee for non-profits and individuals.

We especially encourage representatives from the non-profit housing sector across Nova Scotia to attend.

Building on the momentum gained from last year’s gathering, the Conference 2012 will strengthen the non-profit, private and public housing sectors by once again bringing leaders from across the Atlantic Provinces.

This event will offer opportunities for exchange between non-profit organizations, individuals, business and government, access to experts in a variety of housing related fields, as well as the development of ideas in an interactive forum. It will attract a full spectrum of people living in and working within the affordable housing industry – people who are committed to advancing what Nova Scotians continue to ask for in their communities – safe and affordable housing.

Elizabeth Babcock - keynote speaker. Elizabeth is the President and CEO of the Crittenton Women’s Union. The CWU is a Massachusetts-based, non-profit innovator in breaking the cycle of poverty. They provide direct services, perform in-depth research, and advocate for public policy changes that will support low-income women in their journey to economic self-sufficiency. The CWU helps approximately 1,400 people annually through its mobility mentoring, housing, and education and workforce development programs.

Inspiring speakers and working sessions will enable participants to work on pressing issues including rural housing, policy and governmental relations, existing housing stock protection, and homelessness.

Deadline for online registration is Thursday, November 15th.

A block of rooms have been reserved at The Four Points by Sheraton. The special room rate of $140.00 per single occupancy will be available until MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH, or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.

To ensure you receive this rate, please email the Reservations Manager, Matt Bochoff at mbochoff@fourpointshalifax.com.

We hope to see you in November!
