Put Affordable Education on the Menu!
Nova Scotia's political parties are gearing up for an election in 2013. The last four years have been defined by annual cuts to university funding and annual tuition hikes- totalling 10% and 12% respectively.
Members of the NDP are being invited to a fundraising dinner with Premier Darrell Dexter, at $200 per plate. Can't afford to go? Yeah, me neither. But that doesn't mean you can't make your voice heard to the premier, eat food, and appreciate the colour orange!
Many students can’t afford tuition fees let alone a good meal. Enjoy some free hot food Let Premier Dexter, members of his government and party know that students and our allies are going to keep up the public pressure to invest in post-secondary education and make education accessible!
