No Harbour For War! Newsletter is an occasional
publication of the No Harbour For War! Committee.
NO HARBOUR FOR WAR has worked with all the
people’s forces that are able to come together on the
basis of unity in anti-imperialist, anti-NATO & other
anti-war actions in Halifax. We take seriously the  
social responsibility to work for a Canadian govern-
ment that upholds international law and opposes the
war aims of the U.S. empire. Only an antiwar gov-
ernment can put an end once and for all to paying
the rich and renew necessary investments in social  
programmes, and unravel Canada from the U.S.  
imperialist war machine. We have been part of taking up
this social responsibility, since the days of opposition to
warship visits by imperialist powers in the late 1970s.
