The 2012 Lebanese Festival (which runs from July 5th until July 8th)
is a cultural festival which aims to introduce the people of Halifax
to Lebanese culture through traditional food, music, art and
entertainment. 25,000 people are expected to take part this year for
the festival's 11th anniversary. Celebrating Lebanese culture for more
than a decade, the Lebanese Festival offers an opportunity to relax in
a fun environment while snacking on traditional foods such as Falafel,
Tabouli, Hummus, Shish Taouk, Grapeleaves and Zaatar, as well as
enjoying traditional entertainment such as live music and dancing. The
festival is open to all ages and admission is free, so bring your
friends and family out to celebrate Lebanese culture in Halifax this
month!
