From August 2 to 12, 2012 we welcome you to the largest, longest running outdoor festival of it's kind in Canada! The beautiful, historic Halifax Waterfront will come alive as we celebrate 26 years with hundreds of action packed, mind blowing shows from around the globe featuring the world’s most top award winning street performers from Australia, Brazil, UK, Japan, United States, and Canada to name a few!
Our event is a family oriented, free-to-attend festival and located along the beautiful Halifax Waterfront. Please show the performers how much you appreciate their amazing talents and skills by tipping the busker hats.
Stage Hours
Thursday August 2nd ~ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Friday August 3rd to Saturday August 11th ~ 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Sunday August 12th ~ 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Complete schedule information for all six stages will be available on-site at the festival through the the Busker Festival Souvenir program for the great price of only $2.00!
As the poet e.e. cummings once said "The most wasted of all days is one with out laughter". At the Busker Festival, remember that laughter is an instant vacation.
