Are you part of a cultural landscape? The Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 invites you to find out! See how cultures overlap by visiting our latest temporary exhibition to discover the ways groups and individuals maintain and produce their cultural identities in Canada. Shaping Canada: Exploring Our Cultural Landscapes will feature contemporary portrait photography by Naomi Harris, archival images, oral histories, artifacts and your participation. This exhibition highlights cultural landscapes across the country through seven case studies around key themes such as family, faith, food, recreation and neighbourhood. The experience encourages visitors to reflect on the impact that immigration and cultural interactions have had on Canada. All are welcome to the Public Opening Reception on Tuesday, June 19.
