Roger Annis is the Coordinator of the Canada Haiti Action Network. In June of 2011, he undertook a ten-day, investigative delegation, trip to Haiti. The delegation prepared a fact-finding report on aid
in Haiti since the earthquake of 2010, the contents of which was recently presented to the Canadian
Foreign Affairs Minister. The delegation's report can be accessed in English or French on this page of the CHAN website: http://canadahaitiaction.ca/human_rights.

Annis is on a cross-Canada speaking tour, and was in Halifax on Thursday, September 29 and Friday, September 30.

The Halifax Media Coop was fortunate enough to catch up with Annis for an interview. This is part 1 of a 2 part interview. Up-front apologies for coffe-shop background noise.
