The Missing, The Mourned - Missing and murdered Aboriginal people in Canada: Segment 2

K'jipuktuk (Halifax) - This interview is the second part of a follow-up to Annie Clair's piece 'The Missing, The Mourned - Missing and Murdered Aboriginal peoples in Canada', which appeared in Halifax's 'The Coast'.

The Halifax Media Co-op presents Annie's interviews with the three mothers of missing and murdered Aboriginal peoples that featured in her story.

The second interview, presented here, is with Mandy Metallic, a Mi'kmaw from Listuguj First Nation, Quebec.

Mandy is Chris Metallic's mother.

At age 20, on November 25, 2012, Chris Metallic went missing from the town of Sackville, New Brunswick, where he was studying third-year anthropology at Mount Allison University.

Chris went to a party and never came home.

He has never been found, despite intensive search campaigns.

There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to the wherabouts of Chris Metallic.

The Halifax Media Co-op will present the third interview in this series, with Miriam Saunders, mother of Loretta Saunders, tomorrow, September 13th.

The first interview in the series, with Pam Fillier, mother of Hilary Bonnell, can be found here.
