Mikmaq Friendship Centre on 2158 Gottingen St., Halifax, NS

The Halifax May Day Committee and our supporters, invite workers, oppressed peoples and allies from across Halifax and the Maritimes to join in our 5th annual May Day rally on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 2 p.m. The Rally will start at Victoria Park, followed by a march through the downtown core.

A cultural event will follow at the Mikmaq Friendship Centre on 2158 Gottingen St., starting around 3:30 p.m. Includes speakers/discussion • Spoken Word • Workers' Poems • Music • Great Food (potluck contributions most welcome).

Everyone welcome. More details to be announced.
