The location of the Tent City has been changed from the North to the South Commons.
The South Commons is located near the intersection of Bell Rd., Cogswell St., and Quinpool Rd. It is also the site of the Pavilion All Ages Club, the Skate Park, and a playground.

3-4pm – Rally at the North Commons
4-6pm – Workshops and Discussions (focusing on building a movement for affordable housing with different perspectives and experiences of the housing crisis)
6-7pm – Dinner
7-9pm – Music, entertainment, open mic
9-10pm – Acoustic open mic
Sunday, October 17
9-10am – Breakfast
10-11am – Wrap up discussion: Moving forward in the fight for housing
Why Tent City?
Because:
-We all have the right to quality, affordable housing that is safe and accessible
-Housing should be based on need rather than profit
-Housing is fundamental to individual and community health and well-being
-Governments at all levels have an obligation to facilitate the provision of affordable housing for all
-We believe in the power of people to organize for housing
