3-­4pm - Rally at the North Commons
4-­6pm - Workshops and Discussions (focusing on building a movement
for affordable housing with different perspectives and experiences of
the housing crisis)
6-­7pm - Dinner
7-­9pm - Music, entertainment, open mic
9-­10pm - Acoustic open mic

Sunday, October 17

9-­10am - Breakfast
10-­11am - Wrap up discussion: Moving forward in the fight for housing
11am - Join the march to Alderney Landing for the International Day
Against Poverty

Why Tent City?

Because:

-We all have the right to quality, affordable housing that is safe and
accessible
-Housing should be based on need rather than profit
-Housing is fundamental to individual and community health and well-being
-Governments at all levels have an obligation to facilitate the
provision of affordable housing for all
-We believe in the power of people to organize for housing
