Rally: Ehud Barak is not welcome in Halifax

Ehud Barak was Israel's "Defense" Minister during the 2008 and 2012 attacks on Gaza, and is a former Prime Minister of Israel. He is responsible for:
- Ordering Operation Cast Lead, the 2008 assault on Gaza that killed over 1300 Palestinians
- Attacking and murdering activists on the Gaza Flotilla in June 2010
- Launching the 2012 attacks on Gaza
- Maintaining the siege on Gaza
- Expanding the construction of the Apartheid Wall on privately owned Palestinian lands
- Ordering multiple assassinations of Palestinian political activists and leaders
His responsibility for these and other actions mark him as a war criminal. So much so that he has already faced several charges of crimes against humanity charges.
Last year, this man quietly came to Halifax to attend the International Security Forum. We think he may be coming again...
Let's make sure he knows that we don't want him in our city!
