Harborview Tenants Protest Bedbug Infestation!

Tenants living in HarbourView Apartments, in North End Halifax, are demanding that their landlord, Capreit, get rid of the pest infestations. The buildings are famous for their chronic infestations of rodents and bedbugs. Despite the ongoing problems in the buildings, management has been regularly raising the rents every year.
Last year, ACORN members met with HarbourView management, but found their response lacking. The tenants were just demanding a concrete plan to deal with the issues but mangement made excuses and avoided taking responsibility. Now we want to let Capreit know that we mean business!
ACORN members are demanding healthy homes now! No tenants should have to live with mice, bedbedugs, and black mold!
