#NSuncut

Say NO to the Liberal Budget for Billionaires
Say YES to the Fight for $15/hr minimum wage

Mayday is the international day of the working class. It commemorates the Haymarket Massacre in 1886 and the struggle by the workers' movement for the 8 hour day. A struggle that continues today as more and more workers are forced to work more than 8 hours a day to make ends meet.

Mayday is celebrated by trade unionists and socialists worldwide to remember the gains we have made and continue the struggle for freedom and socialism, and against capitalism and oppression.

While the McNeil Liberals are creating a budget to benefit billionaires and others in the 1%, the Halifax-Dartmouth and District Labour Council and our social movement allies are continuing the fight for a $15 minimum wage.

We invite everyone in the 99% to join the Fight for $15, and to oppose the McNeil Liberal’s agenda.
