NOVA SCOTIA NEEDS TO RAISE THE RATES

Community Meeting on Income Assistance Reform

6:00pm
- 8:00pm
Thursday April 9 2015

Venue: Multipurpose Room, Spry Centre
Address: 16 Sussex St, Spryfield
The Nova Scotia government is reforming income assistance without the input of community organizations and people living in poverty.

The government may be attempting to balance the budget on the backs of the people who can afford it the least. At this meeting, a Community legal Worker will talk about what we know is happening and community members will have a forum to talk about how income assistance can be im-
proved.
