Imagining Mad Positive Spaces: Art to Action Workshop

6:00pm
- 8:00pm
Wednesday September 24 2014

Venue: Dalhousie Student Union, room 224/226

» More information

Join us in the imagining of spaces that support mental health and combat stigma! This workshop will be a discussion and arts based exploration of mad positive spaces and how they could be symbolized.

We will have a round table discussion (with as much or as little participation as you like), idea and art generation. If you'd like to help create a mandate or a symbol we can post in our mad-positive spaces there will be supplies available.

What does a mad-positive space look like to you?
What would you like for mad-pride moving forward in the future?

There will be a cozy hangout corner, coffee, and a variety of teas to choose from. Snacks will be provided generously by The Loaded Ladel!

Special thanks to Nova Scotia Public Interest Research Group (NSPIRG)for providing funding for this workshop.

Students, community members, leaders and faculty welcome.

Space is wheelchair accessible, with gender neutral washrooms nearby.
