People First Nova Scotia and Advocating Parents of Nova Scotia are organizing demonstrations in support of Nichele Benn, Richard Rector, Amanda Murphy and others like them. These rallies are scheduled for Sunday February 2nd in Halifax, New Minas, Truro, Windsor, Yarmouth, Sydney, Amherst and possibly other towns as well. A rally is scheduled in Antigonish on Thursday February 6th, the day that Amanda Murphy is to be sentenced.

SUNDAY IS FAST APPROACHING AND THE DETAILS OF THE DEMONSTRATION OF SUPPORT ARE FALLING INTO PLACE.  WE ENCOURAGE MEDIA TO ATTEND AS WELL AS CONCERNED CITIZENS.  PLEASE BROWSE THE INFORMATION BELOW AND ATTEND ONE OF THE 7 LOCATIONS ACROSS NOVA SCOTIA.

HALIFAX
1pm Meet at the Superstore
1075 Barrington Street - park at the farthest end of the parking lot. Look for red demonstration posters

NEW MINAS
1:30 pm Meet at the old Civic Centre, (across from Canadian Tire at the lights)
