If you want to meet other teens who care about the environment and our future, learn fun, hands-on sustainability skills, discuss new topics, share ideas and meet other environmental organizations who work with young people, come Start Something Big, 2.0!

The 2nd Annual Start Something Big environmental conference hosted by the Ecology Action Centre and Clean Nova Scotia will be held on Saturday February 1st, 2014 from 9am-3pm at Rocky Lake Jr High School in Bedford.

We’ll have a delicious local food lunch and learn from skilled people using all kinds of materials, so there is a $10 suggested donation to help cover costs of the day. Any extra funds will be used for the Ecology Action Centre’s teen volunteer pilot program, so stay tuned for that!

Please download and fill out the parental consent form and bring it with you to the conference. Feel free to pass the word along to your friends, but print out a form for them too and bring it along!

Registering and Donating now helps us to plan for food, prepare session materials and cover our costs! Thanks! Looking forward to seeing you there!
