WHO: SOULS HARBOUR RESCUE MISSION to give away 600 pair of winter & repurposed military combat boots.  Also for giveaway will be 1000’s of pieces of warm clothing, winter gear, including new and like new mitts, toques, scarves, & coats.

 

WHAT: Souls for Soles Day: 600 decommissioned boots, as well as coats, toques, mittens, scarves and warm clothing in one giant afternoon giveaway .

WHEN: Friday, January 10th  1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

WHERE: 5568 Cunard Street (btwn Gottingen and The Armoury) Halifax, NS Souls Harbour RESCUE Mission - Use the RED Doors

WHY: “For those living in poverty, footwear is a must.  The most requested item of need at Souls Harbour RESCUE Mission is shoes.  An anonymous donor has made this ‘Soles for Souls Day’ possible.  He chooses anonymity to spur others on to generous giving ,” says Michelle Porter, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Souls Harbour RESCUE Mission.
