Justice for Jessica: Day of Trans Action and Solidarity

4:00pm
- 5:00pm
Thursday November 7 2013

Venue: South House

» More information

A Dalhousie student named Jessica Dempsey has recently gone public with incidents of transphobia that she has experienced on Dalhousie campus, but unfortunately she isn't the only one.

It's time that we send a clear message to Dalhousie University (and other campuses) that we will not allow our trans, genderqueer, gender non-conforming and/or queer students and staff to live in fear.

With Trans Day of Remembrance just around the corner in late November, the timing is ripe for a display of trans visibility. Please join us on Thursday, November 7th at 4pm to demand accountability.

We will have sign-making materials available at the South House (6286 South Street) leading up at the event.

Questions can be directed to Jude at 494-2432, or by email at outreach@southhousehalifax.ca.
