Join us for an interactive conversation on food security, one of the key social determinants of health. This event will provide insight into some of the work being done on improving food security in Nova Scotia. It will also offer an opportunity to connect and network with others and to get more involved in the area.

9:40 – 11:20 Case studies from organizations working to enact change at various levels

11:30 – 12:30 Creative and action-orientated conversations on areas of concern

 

Space is limited, so please book in advance and bring confirmation of booking with you to the event.

Please note that we intend to film the event and make the videos available online afterwards, along with a summary of the discussions and presentations.

Directions

Due to demand the event has moved to the Bloomfield Centre at 2786 Agricola St Halifax, NS B3K 4E1. The centre is inbetween Robie St. and Agricola St, by the junction with Almon St.   

Parking

FREE parking is available at the centre, but spaces are limited. There are great public transport links to the Bloomfield Centre from Halifax, with numerous bus routes stopping just outside on Robie St..
