Gen Silent - Documentary

Silencing and Discrimination Faced by LGBTQ Seniors

6:00pm
- 8:00pm
Tuesday October 29 2013

Venue: Scotiabank Auditorium, Marion McCain Arts and Social Sciences Building
Address: 6135 University Ave.

"Imagine you are old, disabled, ill or dying...and the person providing your healthcare wants to change your sexual orientation."

The LGBTQ generation that was instrumental in fighting for same-sex rights, now in their senior years, are facing issues of discrimination, alienation and fear of being 'out' as they access the healthcare system. Please join us for this important health equity conversation.

Gen Silent is a critically acclaimed documentary that follows the lives of six LGBTQ seniors for one year.
